Adding a blog button to link to your blog

Im now trying to add a button to my blog this is what i have found so far but not too sure how to add buttons i dont understand how to get my own button so that it links to my site. This is the next stage im at with my blog. So im going to go with this button for now till i can work out how to do my own.  What the button does is when you click on it it links to your blog site.  Im learning this myself and trying to find as much info as i can on-line without having to pay.
